Description
Chantre is a brandy created by Ludwig Eckes in 1953 and seems that its name is none other than the maiden name of Ludwig’s wife. Although it was the first randy created by Ludwig Eckes, it enjoyed extraordinary success from the very beginning and continues to be known for its gentle, delicate flavours.
The careful selection of the wines, the secret composition of the distillates, and the maturation in oak-wood casks for at least six months have enabled Chantre to continue to be the most popular brandy in Germany and the favourite of many. The fact that Chantre has impressed consumers for over 60 years and continues to stand out is entirely due to its unique taste.
