Description
Yeni Raki Ala is a traditional Turkish drink. It is special because it is not sweetened; it is made by the triple distillation of sweet grapes dried in the sun. You can scent fresh and clear notes of dry exotic fruit, as well as anise, intertwined with mint and hay.
Yeni Raki Ala is somewhat sweet as a result of dry fruit, and it is slightly peppery. Its finish is flavoured, mineral and peppery. Liquid is colourless; it is drunk with water, the addition of which causes it to throw a milky louche - in Turkey, it is called the “lion’s milk”.
