Description

Yeni Raki + 2 Glasses is a set consisting of two Turkish style glasses and a traditional Turkish drink – it originates from Turkey and has an alcohol by volume level of 45 %.

This type of drink is obtained by distilling grapes, raisins and anise, followed by their maturing in oak casks for a month.

You can scent anise, dry exotic fruit, mint and hay. Taste imparts dry, mineral notes with a hint of peppercorn, which is also present in the drink’s peppery finish.

Yeni Raki is colourless; the addition of water (with which it is drunk) throws it a milky louche; in Turkey, it is also called “the lion’s milk”.
