Description
The Famous Grouse 12 Year Old is a special blend aged for 12 years and made out of the best single malt whiskies: Macallan, Glenrothes and Highland Park. This variety is aged in charred oak casks, in which it develops a rich, velvety flavour palette, as suits a whisky that aims for perfection.
Its smell is rich, fruity, with notes of cereal and hints of smoke. The taste is well balanced, sweet, with initial flavours of apple and pear complemented by woody notes and hints of anise. The Famous Grouse 12 Year Old sports a long, fruity finish.
