Blended Whisky Johnnie Walker Red Label, 40% alc., 0.7L, Scotland
Johnnie Walker Red Label was the first whisky launched by the brothers George and Alexander Walker in 1909, although it existed before as Walker's Special Old Highland Red Label. Its classic, elegant flavour is the result of blending 35 whisky varieties from all over Scotland.
Alexander Walker created this whisky, which is more suitable to be drunk with soda, and named it after his grandfather, who started this family business in 1820. Johnnie Walker is the most popular whisky brand in the world and is sold on more than 200 markets all around the globe.
The smell of Johnnie Walker Red Label enchants us with a delicate, fresh aroma of apple and pear, harmoniously complemented by hints of malt. The taste is sweet and fruity, with notes of vanilla and caramel, pleasantly seasoned with cinnamon and a sprinkle of black pepper. The finish is long and persistent, with fine accents of smoke.
