Glenfiddich 15 Year Old is a single malt much superior and nobler than the popular blended versions and is seen as "the factory treasure". This 15-year-old variety has an intense golden colour and features flavours of cereal, vanilla, and liquorice. The very high whisky demand in the 19^th century led to the exclusive production of blended whisky, as it was easier to make, so that the factory only resumed selling single malt varieties after World War II.

Glenfiddich 15 Year Old is one of the extremely few whiskies still aged using the Solera method. The beverage is aged in European-oak casks which had previously held sherry and in new ones made of the same wood, by following the Solera method, which represents a guarantee of the quality of the finished product. The Solera still is never emptied completely, but has been kept half full of whisky ever since 1998. That is the secret of the Glenfiddich 15 Year Old single malt.

Glenfiddich 15 Year Oldfeatures an exquisite smell of honey, fresh and dried fruits, and vanilla, which come together in perfect harmony to create a sweet, alluring aroma. Its taste reveals a subtle and sophisticated bouquet, dominated by sweet notes of honey, marzipan, raisins, ginger, and a pinch of cinnamon. The finish is long and sweet, with hints of wood.
