Glenlivet 18 Year Old is an extremely expressive variety, winner of numerous international medals which attest to its quality and tendency towards perfection. Master Distiller Alan Winchester has chosen an unusual combination of wood casks made from American and European oak.

The Glenlivet 18 single malt has a classic character and elegantly combines the Glenlivet signature flavour of ripe fruits with intriguing oak wood aromas to create an extraordinary beverage fit to be enjoyed drop by drop.  

The smell of Glenlivet 18 seems to be a fascinating mix of woody notes, a floral fragrance, and warm tones of caramel and butter. Its taste is characterised by fine and velvety, yet strong aromas. The sweet notes are balanced out by the spicy flavours and clean accents of oak wood and bitter orange. The finish is persistent and woody, with a touch of ginger and smoke.
