Momentum Gin is a gin whose level of quality is very difficult to attain and that is due to one single ingredient: holy basil. Holy basil is by no means that basil which we use to make pesto, but the tulsi basilikum of India. The Sanskrit word “tulsi” means “unparalleled”. Tulsi was consumed exclusively by kings and pharaohs in times long past.

Momentum Gin is an unparalleled gin produced by Beverage Concierge GmbH & Co. KG after a special recipe. The alcohol is first distilled from the best wheat, then over ten botanicals, including tulsi, juniper, and lavender, are heated and left to cool overnight.

The next morning, the essential oils and neutral alcohol undergo a gradual distillation. For several days, the beverage is reduced to a 44% alcohol content. Momentum Gin is not cold-filtered and contains no artificial flavourings or flavour enhancers. It is a naturally flavoured gin that can be served as such or added to a multitude of cocktails.
