Description
Label 5 is a Scotch whisky property of the French company La Martiniquaise. According to the Malt Whisky Yearbook 2014, it is one of the most sold Scotch whiskies. It is just as delightful served neat as it is as a base for various cocktails.
Its producer recommends it for cocktails such as 5 Senses, Shanghai Kiss or London Collins. The recipes can be found on the official website.
Served neat, or perhaps on the rocks, Label 5 is a smooth whisky with subtle hints of smoke and a light fruity flavour.
Label 5 has received numerous awards along the years. Among them are The Spirits International Prestige Awards (2012, 2015) and the San Francisco World Spirits Competition 2013.
