Tamdhu is a relatively young whisky, only 10 years of age, but that is precisely what makes it so special. The production process entails maturing the whisky only in sherry casks used for this purpose for the first time. This preserves the fresh, yet flavourful taste of the whisky.

Its smell is well balanced. Hazelnuts combined with vanilla create the sweetish taste that has made Tamdhu stand out. The smell is balanced out by the cinnamon flavour.
