Description
Unicum is a 40% alcohol content liqueur, originating from Hungary. It is manufactured in Budapest, and it includes around 40 aromatic herbs and spices; its maturation is carried out in oak casks, for 6 months. Unicum is recommended to be served as a digestif.
Unicum has an interesting scent, with notes of jasmine, cumin, anise, and hints of tobacco. Medicinal plants, coffee, liquorice and citrus fruit are only some of the flavours you can taste. The drink is dark brown, and it has a bitter, slightly peppery finish.
