Aberfeldy 12 Year Old is a warm and seductive Scotch malt with a distinct history. Launched in 1999, Aberfeldy 12 is produced by one of the two unique malt distilleries which comprise the Dewar Blended Scotch whisky line. The Aberfeldy distillery was founded in 1898 by the Dewar family.

The water for the Aberfeldy whisky comes from the Pitilie Burn river, which is known for its gold deposits. It is a single malt Scotch whisky with a rich, ample, full-bodied flavour, which is mostly the result of the long maturation process.

 Aberfeldy 12 Year Old is distilled in copper stills which handmade by the same Dewar family for over 100 years. Then the distillate is allowed to mature in oak casks. The result is a premium whisky with a sweet flavour of caramel, toffee, and beeswax. Then the fine orange and vegetal notes emerge, followed closely by the nutty finish. Looking at its warm golden colour, you can tell why it is also known as Golden Dram.
