Champagne Moet & Chandon Brut Imperial 0.75L, 12% alc., France
Moët Impérial is the iconic champagne of the Moët company. Created in 1869, it embodies the unique style of Moët & Chandon, a distinguished style thanks to its fruity quality, its seductive flavour and elegant maturity. Created from more than 100 different wines, 20% up to 30% of which are reserve wines especially selected for enhancing maturity, complexity and steadiness.
Moët Et Chandon Brut Imperial is made from three types of wine: 30-40% Pinot Noir, 30-40% Pinot Meunier and 20-30% Chardonnay. It has a vibrant citrus and green apple bouquet, the freshness of white flowers and the elegance rendered by the aromas of muffin, cereal and fresh walnuts. It can be drunk with sushi, mussels, oysters, white meat – chicken. It has an elegant colour with hints of amber.
Moët & Chandon was founded in 1743 by Claude Moët, a wine trader, and it was originally called Moët et Cie (Moët & Co); but it was Jean-Remy Moët, the founder’s grandson, who turned the brand into a luxury one. During his life, Jean-Remy built this international brand relatively fast, thanks to his ambition and his travels around the world. These were the two elements that succeeded in bringing Moët to prominence in very remote places really quickly.
