Whisky Single Malt Dalwhinnie Winter's Gold, 43% alc., 0.7L, Scotland
Dalwhinnie is one of the Scottish distilleries located in a fairy-tale landscape at high altitude. This isolated location was chosen due to the abundance of peat and the purity of the water.
Dalwhinnie Winter’s Gold is a single malt Scotch whisky inspired by the chilly climate of the region where the distillery is found. This variety is made from alcohol distilled during the cold days of winter and its producers suggest serving it straight from the freezer! Of course, its bold, invigorating character is just as appreciated when served at room temperature.
The smell of Dalwhinnie Winter’s Gold is characterised by discreet caramel, almond, apple, and malt flavours. Its taste is defined by main notes of apple, orange zest, and spices such as pepper and cinnamon, with subtle hints of peat. This whisky has a creamy consistency, while its finish, when served ice cold, aside from the nutmeg and malt notes, will reveal the aromas of cinnamon and pepper.
