Plantation XO 20^th Anniversary is an exquisite blend of two types of rum obtained as a result of two classic distillation processes, each of which provides the finished product with distinctive characteristics. As part of the first stage, the product is matured for 12-20 years in the Caribbean, in bourbon casks, thus imparting the product the exotic characteristic of the area; the casks are then shipped to France, at the Chateau de Bonbonnet, for the second ageing phase which lasts 12-18 months, in small French oak casks, which render the product distinct elegance.

The first bottle of Plantation XO 20^th Anniversary was created by Alexandre Gabriel, Head of the Ferrand Estate company, to celebrate his 20 years of artful management of the company. This special gift led to the current form of bottling this liquor which has a lot of character, is rich in history and refinement.

Plantation XO 20^th Anniversary is impressive thanks to its sophisticated and seductive aromas, and can be enjoyed straight, on the rocks or as a cocktail ingredient. 

It has a balanced taste of oak wood, sugar-preserved oranges, dark chocolate, tobacco leaves, and a pinch of pepper. Its scent includes strong notes of vanilla, of caramel, cinnamon and sweet cherries, harmoniously mixed with subtle hints of bananas flambé and coconut. Its finish is fruity, with long-lasting wood accents and a pinch of spice.
