Description
Yeni Raki is a traditional Turkish drink, the country of origin being Turkey and has a concentration of 45%. The variety of drinks is obtained by the distillation of grapes, raisins and anise, and their aging in oak barrels for a month. At the olfactory level you can feel notes of anise, dried exotic fruits, mint and hay.
The taste of Yeni Raki has dry, mineral and peppery notes, which is also found in the peppery finish of the drink. The liquid is colorless, and if water is added to the consumption, it acquires a white, somewhat milky texture, in Turkey becoming called "lion's milk".
