Gin Beefeater 24, 40% alc., 0.7L, England
The first Beefeater Gin was produced in 1820 in the heart of London by James Burroughs and constitutes one of the symbols of this history-laden city. That same centuries-old recipe is used to produce it even today. It is the only premium brand that carries out its production in central London, which gives a whole new meaning to the name of London Dry Gin.
Aside from the top-quality alcohol, this beverage gets its unique character from using ingredients such as juniper, coriander, angelica, liquorice, almonds, oranges, and lemon zest. It is used in the preparation of cocktails such as Gin & Tonic or Tom Collins.
Its smell is dominated by notes of pine and juniper, with a slight hint of citrus. Its taste features orange zest, violets, almond, as well as notes of bitter citrus and lemon, with a touch of liquorice. The finish is long and pleasant, with fine notes of citrus.
