Glengoyne 12 YO is a Highlander famous for its unbeatable single malt, which makes for a very pure, high-quality style. It was launched on the market in 2009 and has been described as a perfect mix of sweet flavours and woody notes, as it is distilled from unsmoked barley and kept in sherry casks. Unexpectedly for this high-quality whisky, Glengoyne 12 YO is aged in bourbon casks, which thus enrich its flavour profile with their soft citrus and vanilla aromas, as well as in sherry casks, which lend it their fruity notes, all resulting in a very sophisticated, yet properly balanced flavour profile.

Glengoyne 12 YO has a predominantly sweet smell with remarkable notes of cereal, honeycomb, lemon zest, and biscuits. Its taste is extremely pleasant, featuring aromas of caramelised apple, orange, ginger, vanilla, as well as a touch of sherry. The finish is flavourful and dry.
