Glenfarclas 15 Year Old, declared whisky of the year 2014, is the result of numerous attempts made along the decades to find the perfect recipe to generate the desired flavour palette. The mix of casks used for the maturation of Glenfarclas 15 Year Old makes for a delicate, velvety single malt with an expressive and complex flavour profile, a strong personality and a gentle character. The Glenfarclas distillery is independent and produces traditional-style whisky, which means that its whiskies are extremely appreciated by connoisseurs, as they are made with passion, dedication, and a lot of care.

The smell of Glenfarclas 15 Year Old reveals notes which will make anyone think of childhood, as it features notes of butter and toffee, complemented by a delicate pear flavour and discreet lavender accents. Its taste is characterised by the captivating flavours of sherry, oak wood, dried fruits, and spices such as cinnamon and nutmeg. The finish is long, pleasant, fruity and just a tad smoky.
