Whisky Bourbon Jack Daniel's Master Distiller No. 4, 43% alc., 0.7L, USA
Jack Daniel’s is the most sold whisky on the globe. It is produced by the oldest distillery registered in North America, the Jack Daniel Distillery, founded by Jack Daniel in Lynchburg, Tennessee in 1866. Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey is made from the best raw materials: maize, rye, and malted barley. Its distinguished character is the result of natural fermentation, careful and passionate distillation, and the use of the Cave Springs iron-free water, which springs at a constant temperature of 13-14 degrees Celsius.
Jack Daniel's No.4 pays homage to the people behind the legendary Tennessee whisky. This edition pays its due honours to Jess Gamble, the first of Jack Daniel’s Master Distillers to come from outside his family. He and the other six distillers have contributed to refining the taste of this world-famous whisky.
Jack Daniel's No.4 does not follow a specific calendar, but is only ready to be enjoyed when the company tasters, like Jack Daniel himself, using only their senses, conclude that it has attained the desired quality, which is the secret that makes this whisky just as appreciated today, more than a century after its creation.
The smell is sweet and subtle, with fine hints of spices and a slightly smoky aroma. The taste of Jack Daniel's No.4 is velvety, with notes of banana milkshake and a mix of nuts, topped off by a slight hint of caramel and crème anglaise. The finish relishes in the sweetness of cereals and the flavour of oak smoke.
