Jack Daniel's Single Barrel is an American whisky matured in a single barrel and bottled at 45 degrees. What sets Single Barrel apart from the rest of the Jack Daniel's products is precisely the presence of the notes of caramel and sweet, fruity spices. The strong character which this whisky develops is due to the flavours it absorbs from the barrels kept in storage at temperatures especially set by master distillers.

This very complicated process makes Single Barrel taste less sweet than the classic Jack Daniel's. What the two have in common is the filtration of the whisky drops through maple charcoal. The Jack Daniel’s Single Barrel line is truly unique. The barrels for this 100% original whisky are very carefully selected, then each of them is filled manually and given the number of the cylinder from which the whisky was taken. Thus you can be sure that you will never end up with two whisky bottles which from the same barrel.

What is special about Jack Daniel Single Barrel is the fact that the flavour can vary from one barrel to another. The barrels are stored at the top of the Jack Daniel warehouse to take advantage of the potential differences in temperature. This technique makes the whiskies very flavourful and intense, lending them a deep character.
