The Botanist Gin is, as the name says, a first class botanical gin. It is produced in Islay and that says a lot about the way in which it uses botanicals. The elements that can be identified first of all in the composition of this gin are juniper and a few suave notes of citrus.

It is indeed the 9 classic ingredients that form the base of this gin, among which there are juniper, angelica, cassia, cinnamon, coriander, lemon, orange, and liquorice. After that, over 20 more ingredients are sought and very carefully selected from all over Islay. Its exquisite taste is given by the birch leaves, the bog myrtle, camomile, red clover, thyme, mint, and sage. The elements that leave their mark on this gin are, nevertheless, the local juniper berries, the camomile, and the lemon.
